Sally-Ann Provan Millinery
Sally-Ann Provan is an award-winning milliner based in Edinburgh. She creates distinctive modern millinery, using modern technologies and traditional techniques.
After an Honours degree in Jewellery, Sally trained in couture millinery under the late Queen Mother's milliner, and in theatrical millinery with The Royal Opera House. Her clients include members of the Royal Family including HRH The Duchess of Cambridge and HRH Princess Beatrice, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, and mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins, and she is Scottish Opera’s milliner.
She has shown at London Fashion Week, and has exhibited internationally. Her work is featured in the National Museum of Scotland’s ‘Fashion and Style’ gallery, and she is a V&A Dundee Design Champion.
Learn in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in a well-equipped studio in central Edinburgh. Sally is one of the UK's top millinery designers and has 14 years of teaching experience, including her position as part-time Teaching Fellow at Edinburgh College of Art.
Sally offers 2-day course, 1-day course, or 1/2 day workshops, and all are suitable for beginners, or intermediate level, and run at the weekend. Tuition, materials and use of equipment are all included.
Sally also offers One-to-One tuition for those wishing more a personal learning experience or wishing to learn more specialised techniques.
