This half-day workshop held at The Edinburgh Hat Studio is an introduction to working with wire, beads/crystals and feathers to make hair accessories such as hair-vines, combs, hairbands and tiaras.

The workshop runs over a Saturday or a Sunday from 10am until 1pm.

You will learn how to work with silver-plated or gold-plated wires, beads, pearls, crystals, semi-precious stones and feathers, to create a headpiece or selection of accessories. A great workshop if you are planning to get married and want to make headpieces for yourself or your maids.

No experience required, but you will need the use of both hands.

The workshop is held in our gallery at the studios with lots of space for physical distancing and to be creative, surrounded by inspiring works of art.... and hats!

All materials, equipment and tuition are included in the cost.

You don’t need to bring anything!

* Feel free to bring along any old jewellery or your own beads you may want to use, or you can purchase additional trimmings/feathers at the workshop.

* Due to Covid-19 - we are asking that all participants bring their own refreshments and any snacks with you.
