This workshop is a great introduction to etching. During the weekend, Studio Director, Lisa Arnott (BA Hons, PGC, MFA Metalwork and Jewellery) will teach you how to use a variety of stop outs to create wonderful textures and marks. Alongside mark making she will also introduce you to the process of photo etching, how to create your own reusable etched plates which can be used to create textures within roll printing, how to transfer your images for etching and how set up etching safely at home.
On this short course you will create a series of samples, which will enable you to experiment with and explore this technique.
